Sorry, I’ve been away for awhile. I kind of abandoned updating this, but I recently felt re-inspired so I’m going to start again. Hope everyone is well! I’ll probably start posting cool fan art of pokémon as well to fill up on the days were there’s nothing going on. On that note, here’s some cool ghosts. Kablamo!
New scans surfaced yesterday featuring the names of some newly seen pokémon. In addition to that, it seems rivals and friends have now been shown and 3v3 battles have been mentioned again.

Pokémon Black and White has a new trailer and a release date! As of last week, there was a lot of new releases about the game. Unfortunately, I’ve been on a vacation of sorts and hadn’t really had the time to update. Anyway, This new trailer was released yesterday around 4:00 a.m. Central time.
The two major things to take away from this are that the the release date is September 18th 2010 and that there will be 3 vs. 3 battles now. Madness, I tell you! Madness!
BIG NEWS! New Corocoro leaks this week are showing off some new pokémon! On top of that we have the announcement of a new professor, Prof. Araragi whom is the first female regional professor and the type confirmation on the two legendaries Reshiram (Dragon/Fire) and Zekrom (Dragon/Electric). Here’s a short breakdown of new pokémon:
Chiramii is Chinchilla Normal type pokémon. One of it’s pokémon abilities is Technician, so hopefully this little fellow proves to be a useful pokémon in the Meta Game.
Munna is the pink ball shaped pokémon. It’s a psychic type pokémon and it’s species is listed as “The Dream Eater Pokémon”.
Giaru is the gear shaped Steel type pokémon. Interesting to note that it’s abilities are “Plus” or “Minus”, abilities that which, to this point, were exclusive to Plusle and Minun.
Mamepato is a Normal/Flying type pokémon that would appear to be this generation’s standard for the bird type. On a personal level, I’d like to say that it totally ripped of Honchkrow’s pose.
Hihidaruma is a fire type that, like Infernape, appears to have some visual bases from the “Son Wukong” from the epic novel “Journey to the West”.
Shimama is an electric pokémon that somewhat resembles a Zebra. This pokémon has a great pokémon ability too, Motor Drive (an ability that boosts your speed when struck by an electric attack). This should prove very useful to competitive players and casual ones alike. Keep your fingers crossed that this one gets the stats and movepool to back up this great ability.
Meguroko is of the Desert Crocodile species of pokémon and his typing is Ground/Dark. This pokémon, as potentially coming with Intimidate, has a new pokémon ability called Overconfident, which boosts your attack stat when you defeat a pokémon. This should be very interesting!

A Wi-Fi event pokémon will be distributed on all Japanese copies of Pokémon titles on June 18th 2010. It is a Scizor, and is apparently in promotion of the up coming movie “Phantom Champion Zoroark”. The “Scizor of Goon”, as he is titled in the film, is one of the antagonists of the film.
The Scizor’s ability will be Swarm, it will have a Starf Berry attached to it, and it’s moves will be: X-Scissor, Swords Dance, Iron Defence, and Agility. The event will last until July 14th 2010.
RUMORS MILL: Zekrom’s Type!
“The host of Pokémon Sunday, Nakagawa Shoko, blogged today about the character she is voicing in the thirteenth movie. With this, she mentioned about her love for Electric types and stated that due to this, she wants to get Zekrom. This statement was quickly removed from her blog but people managed to catch it in time. If this holds true then it will mean that Zekrom is of a Dragon and Electric type, a new and unique type combination. Remember though, this is NOT confirmed, albeit coming from a very likely source plus she could have removed it due to her being mistaken about Zekrom’s type.”

Here they are, folks! The Corocoro scans of the next generation starters. I gotta say, the silhouettes looked a bit weird, but after seeing the actual pictures they look alright.
Which one are you guys going to be choosing? I’m likin’ the grass type, but I’m withholding opinion until the final evolutions are out. Black and White is shaping up to be another outstanding edition to the pokémon franchise!
